Doctors wouldn’t agree…but teenagers seem to think that being underweight and all the problems that come with it is attractive.

Oh dear…

If I ever find out my future daughter says things like that, I WILL re-direct her thought process. SIGH.

I can’t even imagine being an inch shorter than I am now and being 78 pounds. How is that even possible?! I’m probably a little less than 110 and people tell me I’m too skinny! It’s sickening to think about. Gah.

I know I’m deviating from my typical food-obsessiveness, but this is so cute. I think my nephew was exactly two months old in this picture. My dog is so gentle and affectionate towards him. It’s so cute.

Imagining:

Sometimes the world simply astounds me.

I wonder, and I watch, and it’s so interesting, and sometimes beautiful, like seeing a butterfly, or a cloud shaped like something familiar. Human imagination reaches so much, within ourselves and the outside world, and I it’s so fascinating.

Sometimes I am slightly nihilistic, and I think that we create the world and our thoughts for nothing, but then I pull myself out. That’s not what I am meant to think for, or how. That isn’t how I want to think, or need to think.

Because the world is so much more than we know. The world is a tiny dot in the Universe, beyond anything else, and like everything, we can only imagine.

And imagining is a great and wondrous thing.
